VRI received an email describing the needs of a five year old girl from Iraq, named Tabarek. She has severe leg injuries requiring surgery in the United States. The only problem was, she can’t get here without a plane ticket. The cost of one person round trip was estimated at $2,500.00.
We requested photos of Tabarek and developed an online campaign in an attempt to raise the money. Working around the clock, we made the deadline, exceeding our goal to $2,650.00.
