You are not alone.
For some of us, PTSD is just a military term for having a conscience during war.
But for all of us, the programs provided are condescending, offensive and often leave you worse than before. It is a long, hard road, but you do not walk it alone.

I tried the PTSD Veteran’s program too. I got worse not better. That program is not for everyone, and the most hurtful thing is that they just abandon the people that don’t fit in the program. If you have ever been an over achiever, like myself, then don’t listen to that CBT. Dig down deep and fight like you always have; you WILL find a way. I have begun to feel better and have hope after working with a psychologist who was also has PTSD from Vietnam. It’s going to be a long journey but like my history with success, I will not give up.
